Parents and students in the Glendale Union High School District should be aware that your high schools are continually preparing for emergencies.  All of our schools have safety and security plans.  For several years, our school and district administrators have been working closely with local law enforcement, emergency management and public health officials to coordinate emergency response procedures for natural disasters and man-made threats. Although each of our high schools has its own localized plan, all of them must include specific common features as required by district administration and local, state and federal agencies. School staff is trained annually on emergency management procedures. Each school reviews its individualized plan annually and creates updates as needed.
