COMMUNITY VOTERS SAY "NO" TO UNIFICATION

On behalf of the Governing Board and Superintendent, thank you for your continued support of Glendale Union High School District. Every day every staff member works hard to ensure student success. Given the outcome of the unification vote, the district can now move forward to maintain excelling schools, high student achievement and schools that everyone can be proud of.

Seven out of nine Glendale Union high schools earned the excelling label and two schools earned a highly performing label. This makes GUHSD the district with the most excelling high schools in the state. In addition, all nine of Glendale Union's schools made academic "Adequate Yearly Progress" under the No Child Left Behind Act.

The Department of Education ranks schools as Excelling, Highly Performing, Performing Plus, Performing, Under Performing and Failing. Ratings are based on student performance on state tests and graduation and dropout rates.
