Welcome to Glendale Union High School District.
A Message from the Superintendent, Eugene Dudo
It is a pleasure to serve a district whose mission is to empower all students for the choices and challenges of the 21st century. For years, Glendale Union has brought a quality education to its community with the belief that all students can succeed. This value will guide my decisions as superintendent, as the district adopts the state’s new common core standards and legislated changes to school systems.
Throughout my twenty-five years with the district, I have been able to work closely with the past five superintendents, governing board members, and countless principals. Previously serving as the administrator for Title I and associate superintendent for finance, I have been able to collaborate with these dedicated individuals to constantly improve the district’s schools and enhance student learning.
Going forward, Glendale Union High School District will remain committed to the governing board goals, focused on continual improvement of student achievement, the assurance of quality personnel, the development of community partnerships, and the effective use of resources. Glendale Union’s reputation for excellence will continue as teachers, staff members, and administrators work together to integrate these while preparing your children for college and careers.
My focus as superintendent will remain fixed on providing the best education possible for the nearly 15,000 Glendale and Phoenix students. I am fortunate to be a part of a community who supports this vision, and I look forward to working together to accomplish district-wide goals.
Eugene Dudo, CEO
