December 2017 – Principals of the district presented the annual Continuous Improvement Report to community stakeholders on December 6. The report included community members, parents, teachers, students and administrators representing each of the district’s nine high schools.

The report is compiled by principals and discusses continual improvement and strategic processes that have been implemented district-wide. This year, principals discussed the importance of planning, reflection and building and maintaining strong relationships with students, parents and the community. Areas of strengths and weaknesses are identified and plans to improve upon areas are addressed.

To remain a successful public school district focused on helping every student become successful, Glendale Union constantly evaluates its progress and adjusts plans accordingly.

Analyzing data helps ensure students are prepared to be college and career ready after high school. Providing effective teaching methods, digital literacy, interventions and college and career ready exploration and planning, along with goal-setting, are ways teachers and staff are helping students to be successful.
