October 2017 – Community members, parents, students and teachers attended the annual Student Achievement Report on October 4 at Apollo High School. The Glendale Union High School District Governing Board, along with district office administrators and superintendent and high school principals were also present to receive the report.

The evening’s presentation is a release of the 2016-17 data and presented by GUHSD’s Curriculum and Instruction Coordinators. It focuses on evaluating findings and discussing how to implement strategies for a successful 2017-18 school year.

The coordinators presented findings on areas of student achievement, extracurricular participation, post-graduate rates, scholarship amounts and more. The comprehensive report is an important way to identify accomplishments and areas of improvement at each of the schools. It is a measurement used to improve the learning systems for teachers and students.
