November -For the past decade (or more), Glendale High School band director Dan Lindsey allows marching band members to recruit a faculty member to show up to practice for them for one day. A popular event for both students and faculty members, GHS marching band students instruct teachers during the early morning band practice. Teachers have to not only march in formation, they have to play the instrument for the student.
