October -Congratulations to Apollo senior, Rebecca Ahern, won $200 for her painting "Scaredy Cat" in the Glendale Public Library Card Contest. Over 800 works of art were entered in the design competition. Rebecca's design will be one out of four designs available after January 1st in every Glendale Public Library. Twenty-four thousand cards will be printed. Apollo High school's art department was awarded $500 to go towards art supplies.
