The Glendale Union High School District Education Foundation

The Glendale Union High School District Education Foundation was first formed in 1983. The 501 c 3 entity's purpose at the time of its creation was to promote state education reform and initiatives to affect meaningful change to Arizona K-12 education.  In 1997, Glendale Union High School District took over the Education Foundation and changed its direction from one of Arizona state interests to one that focuses exclusively on GUHSD and its community needs. Recently, the Education Foundation re-commissioned itself to provide a clear message to support and promote high academics and student involvement in extracurricular programs in the Glendale Union High School District.

Its mission is to support public education in the Glendale Union High School District by rallying the community to provide additional resources for schools and students and build strong school-community partnerships. The Foundation will work to improve public education within GUHSD by helping to build leadership capacity in education among educators, business and community leaders, parents and students themselves.

The Glendale Union High School District Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to funding projects that boost student achievement and to provide student scholarships and teacher grants to support the district’s mission.

The Foundation is a 501 c 3 nonprofit entity and can accept donations of any amount. Donations can be made by calling 623-435-6000 or click here for the pledge form.
