GUHSD Schools Host Career Fairs March 2012- Both Apollo High School and Sunnyslope High School recently hosted campus-wide career fairs, which included representatives from multiple universities, vocational schools, and organizations and the different branches of the military.
Students were eager to visit many of the different booths for information, and many could be heard discussing their college and career goals with friends. Career and Technical Education teachers addressed the students, telling them that this was their day to explore all of the different options available to them and encouraging them to take advantage of the information.
The colleges and programs represented included Arizona State University, the Arizona Humane Society, Chamberlain College of Nursing, and the Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing, just to name a few.
With events such as these, GUHSD schools uphold their commitment to helping students achieve success beyond their time in high school.
