GUHSD Art Teachers Featured at Faculty Art Show October 2011- The same GUHSD teachers who constantly encourage students to display their masterpieces recently got the chance to present their own work in the Faculty Art Show.
Over a week-long period, drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and more, all created by GUHSD art teachers, were on display at the Nielsen Design Center in Phoenix.
At the opening reception, many of the artists were present, discussing their work with viewers and mingling with their colleagues. Culinary students were also there providing hors d'oeuvres and desserts.
GUHSD is proud of the work put into this show by the Curriculum and Instruction department and GUHSD art teachers. Special appreciation is also extended to Mike Nielsen for providing the venue for this event.
