Greenway NJROTC Provides Color Guard for Arizona Cardinals' Home Opener September 2011- The Greenway NJROTC was given the privilege of presenting the colors at the Arizona Cardinals' home opener on September 11.
Cadets Maria Solis, Sarah Donahue, Taylor Hoil, and Richard Nouansavanh proudly represented the country and the state on the field as Jordin Sparks sang the national anthem and a large American flag was rolled out in memory of September 11, 2001.
Lieutenant Commander Paula Sawdy Bowes, sponsor of the unit, said it was "an honor and a thrill" to be a part of this event.
This is the fourth year in a row the Greenway NJROTC has been asked to participate in Cardinals games because of their reputation for excellence. GUHSD is proud to be the home of such distinguished cadets. Congratulations, Greenway NJROTC!
